Despite the rapid growth in the number of women who ride, women riders are still immersed in a in a male-dominated environment. Few opportunities exist for her to blend in a female-only environment.

The fastest growing segment of new purchases by women are for cruisers and touring motorcycles. Also, organized clubs for women historically serve cruising and touring riders. In a WomenRidersNow.com survey more than half of the respondents reported owning a cruiser/touring motorcycle compared to 18% who owned a sportbike, 10% who owned a sport tourer, 8% who owned a standard or naked bike and the remaining 8% who owned a dirt or dual sport bike.

Women riders that are not cruiser or touring oriented are a minority within a minority.

MotoGirlz was founded for the dedicated women sportrider interested in pursuing her passion and enhancing her riding skills . Although primarily based in Northeastern Ohio, we are an open club for women everywhere through our exclusive, women-only forum. Membership is free.
